My name is Bernard Omboto Onguso, and I am a visionary "Sustainopreneur" and aviation consultant whose insights are poised to transform African aviation. My focus lies in expanding the aviation fuel business across Africa and integrating Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) with conventional fossil jet fuel beyond Africa's 2% share.

I have 18 years of industry experience with top-tier petroleum companies like Agip (ENI), Shell, and TotalEnergies, complemented by 12 years as a Sustainopreneur, aviation consultant, and SAF solutionist. My career, which began with an industrial internship studying fatty acids, now a key SAF feedstock, has given me a rare, integrated perspective from academic rigor to hands-on experience.

My work is a strategic blueprint for collaboration and growth, not just an academic exercise. It is based on the idea of a "living legacy" that aims to empower mutual gain. This approach is already embodied by the FuelingAfricanAviation.com platform, a hub for collaboration and generational knowledge transfer.

My specialties include operational excellence, market entry strategies, and sustainable practices in Africa and the Middle East, with a deep understanding of risk management and stakeholder collaboration. These experiences have enabled me to provide actionable strategies and a clear vision for African aviation to rise above its current 2% share of the global market.
